The 2009 Pan American Badminton Championships are over and Canada has emerged the winner, losing only one match the entire tournament. In the semi-finals Canada defeated Mexico 3-0 and Peru beat Brazil 3-2. The final team match saw Canada win 3-0 over Peru. A proud day for Canadian badminton fans no doubt.
