German Open 2009: Draws Released

On February 21, 2009, in Minor BWF Tournaments, by Emmet Gibney

After some changes the draws for the 2009 German Open have been released. There are some pretty good players in attendance so it should be a pretty exciting tournament. The top two seeds are Bao Chunlai and Chetan Anand, and while Bao is clearly the strongest player in attendance, the men’s singles allows for some interesting things to happen.

The other draws actually have some strong players as well since some of the Korean doubles teams have shown up. In the men’s doubles Howard Bach and Tony Gunawan have teamed up together again, and they are certainly a team to be wary of.

Stay tuned cause I’ll be keeping you updated on the tournament’s happenings!
