What I heard about this event was that the individual draws were made after the team event to allow the opportunity to see some of the players first in order to establish seeding since most of the players are pretty much unknown. I think this is a great idea, however, I still think there are going to be certain biases based on what country you play for, regardless of your individual performance.

It’s a shame that Denmark was a no show at this event, they are the top European country and while it’s too much to say that it ruins the legitimacy of the event, it does bring up an important question… Why the hell aren’t the Danes at this event??? It doesn’t make sense to me. Are they boycotting the tournament for some reason? If anyone has any idea why, please let me know. Anyway, I’m picking China to win pretty much everything here.
